About the Role

Triomics is a cutting-edge health technology and oncology data company revolutionizing clinical research through advanced data intelligence. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Ops Intern – Clinical Data to join our growing team. This role involves working with real-world clinical data, interpreting oncology-related medical terminology, and contributing to the curation and analysis of clinical trial information to support oncology research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Trials Acumen: Interpret inclusion and exclusion criteria from clinicaltrials.gov and study protocols to assess patient eligibility for oncology trials.
  • Data Extraction & Curation: Extract, organize, and manage data from Electronic Health Records (EHRs), medical reports, pathology results, and treatment histories.
  • Medical Terminology: Accurately interpret complex oncology-related medical terms to ensure precision in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update datasets in Google Sheets and Excel, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Correlation & Analysis: Analyze clinical data to identify trends and correlations aligned with project objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular checks and validation to ensure high-quality, error-free data curation.
  • Patient Pre-Screening: Support the pre-screening and verification of patient eligibility for clinical trial enrollment through data review and protocol alignment.


Educational Qualification

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Research, Health Information Management, Medical Informatics, Oncology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 6 months of experience in clinical research, oncology research, data abstraction, or data curation preferred.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.

    • Familiarity with EHR systems and data extraction tools.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of oncology, clinical trials, and medical/pathology terminology.
  • Additional Preferences: Candidates with Clinical Trial Certification are preferred.
